En sus memorias, Miley también habla de su ex Nick Jonas, a quien se refiere como Príncipe Azul:

"La primera vez que le conocí sentí como si el mundo se parara. Nada más importaba. El día que rompimos fue el día más duro. Muy dentro sé que no estábamos siendo lo mejor que podíamos. Y eso era lo que quería, y pensé que era lo que merecía, en una relación. Escribí '7 Things I Hate About You' para castigarle, para devolverle todo lo que él me hirió pero el final de la canción es sobre perdonar, no olvidar. Es difícil pensar que nuestro amor es una historia con un final. Pero ya saben, al menos estoy teniendo algunas muy buenas canciones de ello."

Al menos ve el lado positivo de todo ello aunque no creo que Nick esté muy contento con esa canción...

And that was what I wanted — and thought I deserved – in a relationship. I wrote “7 Things I Hate About You” to punish him, to get him back for hurting me [but the song is] about forgiving, not forgetting. It’s hard to imagine that our love is a story with an end. But you know, at least I’m getting some really good songs out of it.”

At least she's seeing the positive thing of all this though I don't think Nick is really happy about that song...
