Jamie Lynn ha hablado sobre ser madre de la pequeña Maddie Bryann:

"Me encanta cuidar de ella! Es tan divertido. Sólo quiero abrzarla y besarla y estoy feliz todo el tiempo. La primera vez que la ví fue surrealista. No puedes ni imaginarte ese momento".

Está bien que Jamie Lynn esté tan feliz pero no es un buen ejemplo a seguir para las chicas de su edad o las más jóvenes. Jamie Lynn lo tiene todo y podrá sacar adelante a su bebé pero una chica normal tendrá muchas más dificultades, pasará por la vergüenza y el rechazo de muchos... no me malinterpreten, cualquier adolescente que decida tener un bebé es muy valiente por ello y le aportará muchas cosas buenas, pero no es oro todo lo que reluce como en el caso de Jamie Lynn.

“I love taking care of her! It is so much fun. I just want to hug her and kiss her, and I’m happy all the time. The first time I saw her, it was surreal. You can’t even imagine that moment.”

It's ok that Jamie Lynn is so happy but it's not a good example for girls' her age or younger. Jamie Lynn has got everything and she could bring up her baby with no difficulties but any normal girl will have many more difficulties, she will go through the shame and refusal of many... don't get me wrong, any teenage girl who decides to have a baby is very brave and will get a lot of good things from that but she will not have it as good as Jamie Lynn.
