natalie thinks you're a rapist

Natalie Portman es vegetariana y ha dicho sobre ello citando el libro "Comiendo animales" de Jonatahn Safran Foer:

"Él lanza esa consideración... que tiene más a ver con ser educado con los que comparten tu mesa que con aferrarte a tus propios ideales, sería absurdo si se aplicara a cualquier otra creencia (por ejemplo, yo no creo en la violación pero si ello complace a los que me han invitado a cenar, entonces lo apoyo)."

Es una comparación algo desafortunada, y aunque se sabe que Natalie no apoya la violación tampoco debe comparar ese crimen con el de comer carne, sería ideal que no se mataran animales para comérnoslos pero comparar esas dos cosas es como llamar violadores a los que comemos carne...

“He posits that consideration…which has more to do with being polite to your tablemates than sticking to your own ideals, would be absurd if applied to any other belief (e.g., I don’t believe in rape, but if that’s what it takes to please my dinner hosts, then so be it).”

It's an unfortunate comparation and even though it's known that Natalie doesn't support rape, she shouldn't compare that crime to eat meat, it would be ideal not to kill animals to eat them but comparing those two things is like calling rapists to those who eat meat...
