Natalie ha dicho sobre los rumores de noviazgo con Sean Penn:

"Sean Penn es un amigo y colega. Las notícias de que estamos involucrados en un romance son completamente falsos. Normalmente no respondo a rumores sobre mi vida privada, pero sin embargo, me he visto forzada ante la repetición de esta historia fabricada."

“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague. The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue. I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so."

Natalie con Sean Penn, con el que se dice que está viéndose desde el mes de marzo, a pesar de que él sigue casado! Al parecer a Robin Wright Penn, la esposa, no le hace ninguna gracia que, obviamente, él esté saliendo con una actriz tan joven, y esto ha sido lo último para arruinar su matrimonio ahora que estaban intentando salvarlo.

Nunca pensé que Nat tuviera ningún escándalo, y la verdad, comparado a lo que pasó con Sienna, este affair no está teniendo tan mala prensa, y eso me hace sentir pena por Sienna porque la situación es casi la misma pero sin hijos pequeños de por medio...

Natalie with Sean Penn, it's been said that they have been seeing each other since March, even though he's still married! Apparently his wife Robin Wright Penn, doesn't like that, obviously, he's been dating with such a young actress and this has been the last straw to ruin their marriage now that they were trying to work things out.
